yesterday was beautiful!

We (me and a few friends i made here) took ourselves out to a walking tour around the Elbe river...amazing...the buildings here are nicely restored and very well taken care of...so you are literally walking down a historical site...and mind you, the entire place (i shall go find out what the area is called :P) is so surreal...almost like being sucked into a fairytale land.

we took the time out to visit Dresden's famous Christmas Market and it's absolutely beautiful! There were two types of X'mas market around and we choose to visit the Middle Age one which turned out quite grand! The entire market is situated in the castle's ground by what used to be the horse stable and where knights used it as a battle ground...and everyone there (those who were selling their stuffs) were dressed like they were in the middle ages, using tools like the middle ages too...very unique!

the days here are short, so by 5 p.m. here is almost like 8 p.m. in KL...which is not very fun...cus by then it get's freezing cold...and because i was out the whole day i couldn't get my grocery shopping done...by the time Pedro and I took the tram back to Königsbrucker Straße it was already pretty late and i made him returned to his guest house while i grabbed my dinner and made calls by the call shop...walking back home alone is pretty scary cus the sreet leading back to my flat is dark, very little lights illuminating the street and it's dreadfully quiet. But Dresden is pretty much safe (I heard la)...

weather today is 2°C...and planning on going far off into the other side of the town today :) ... another time then.
