Our first year anniversary is not till next week but I had a pleasant surprise yesterday.
He came and picked me up from work and we were heading for dinner when he asked me to help pick the keys out of the centre console of his car. Instead of reaching for his keys, I found a small baby blue paper bag lying at the bottom of the console.
I looked at it. Slightly undecided and unsure if it was meant for me until he quipped “Happy Anniversary!” I took it out, still undecided and unsure if it was what I thought it was but when I saw the seal, it confirmed it was the real deal.
I wasn’t expecting anything at all so it was really a surprise when I found Paloma Picasso’s Loving Heart in the pouch!
It’s such a pretty and delicate piece, I absolutely love it, but I what I found more significantly touching was the thought that went into it and how much he wanted to find the right piece for me.

It really really felt like it was only a few months ago when we got married and you guys were back home. So fast :(
Two days ago, i dreamed us 4 were having dinner together and having lots of laughs and i remember feeling all happy only to realise it was a dream :P
