is what i say to my driver every morning. when i'm awake enough anyway. hehe. we leave the apartment at 8 am everyday ok! jeez. yeah i know i'm lucky enough to not need to drive or even.. *gasp* take public transport. but its no joke here in permata hijau where i'm staying where there is practically no buses (seriously i have not seen one), and taking a cab to work would cost a bomb.
had a day full of meetings today and i just feel like facebooking right now. unfortunately IT security here is pretty tight so i can't. so next best thing is to blog! :) my job here is seriously just to do up process flows, track issues and ensure we know what to say when put on the spot. sigh. i had one such scenario today (the put on the spot one) in which i was kinda unprepared for. *urggh* well it was not myself who was put on the spot, it was more like my superior. i seriously don't know how to react to such situations at times, coz i dunno if my superior is not saying anything because he knows something more or what. sigh hate mind games. or am i thinking too much? yes minggy, i can hear u saying YES!
so anyway, weekends here in jakarta so far have been great. full of carrie and her 4 friends dvd series, senayan city, rushing for the apartment breakfast before it wraps up at 11 am and having sinful krispy kreme suppers *fat me*. my colleague has been pretty intrigued with the advertising industry as well, bombarding T with questions. but i'm really happy with the project team here, the people are fun, friendly and challenge you at the same time. the added bonus here is, of course having T around with me during the weekends. Funny thing is, I had accepted (and even embraced) that we were going to be away from each other, that being together seemed kinda weird at first. Like I knew i was with him but it just didn't sink in. But now it has. :)
