~*dizzy days

With crazy deadlines lining and droves of project piling, the past month has been as hectic as I could have imagined.

We were both flying in and out repeatedly and steadily over the weeks, we saw so little of each other we almost forgot how each other looked.

In an advent to kick back and let loose, he cooked up a little surprise as I returned from goddamned KK! (*I never wish to travel there anymore – I’m bored of that place and I absolutely hate their airport! I can only point out Warisan Square as the nicest place to be, on top of their array of seafood. Ok maybe it’s not too bad.).

That aside, the little surprise turned out to be a 2.5 hour drive from town and into a stark Tudor/Colonial bungalow (ok here is where I lose the plot – I am not sure if Tudor and Colonial should be in the same sentence :P) and had sumptuous fusion meal in a Moroccan inspired room.

The black mussels in wine and tomato cherry tasted absolutely divine! I thought it was spanking tasty! Our second starter of a bowl of salad was a curious choice and our main meals were a smart selection of fine cuisine.

I had Chicken Roulade with Sausage and Egg. I absolutely thought it was a simple meal but what greeted me was a piece of art, symmetrical in condiment arrangements and cooked with passion and personal touches. And so, it wasn’t just a Chicken Roulade with Sausage and Egg.

With his birthday around the corner, I have been giving a lot of thoughts into buying ‘A GIFT’. Rest assured, I always try to make the purchase as perfect as it can get. The few rules I applied,

The gift must:
Surprises the daylights out of him
Warms his heart
Withstands wear and tear over time (with logic applied)

And in return,

He must:
Appreciates the gift (foremost top on the list)
Uses it with pride

And when I thought the process taken into buying the gift was difficult, I walked into 3 shops before I settled for a sleek black box and a nice Red/Black/Brown bow to hold the gift.

With that, I’m happy that part is settled.

hmmm, i really wanna go to KK again tho. didnt really explore the place much the last time when i was there (mission mount kinabalu) as i was aching from head to toe! :(

hehe, i think that was quite a challenging feat. Now that you have that off your list, you can go to KK again for sight seeing.

Town centre is quite fun (tho a little dirty). If you go there again, i suggest you stay at Radius International or Imperial Hotel. Those 2 boutique hotels are situated at Warisan Square-where it is accessible to everywhere:)

There's yummy seafood and prolly you can get some water sports into your trip near Magellan Sutera.

Hey that sounds like a plan! I think we can surely whip something up for the weekend.

Not necessarily staying overnight (cus i am sure you and David would like to max out your time here) we could do day trips, which could be just as fun. Hmmm...better start thinking and planning! Weeee*

If we do the overnight thing, i have a perfect place to go! It's in Serendah (near Rawang) that is quaint and secluded. Only 10 lots of accomodations, with BBQ pit and a pool. Very private and nicely tucked away from the city :) Let's see how it goes ya :)
