stop biting!

Jeez. I'm trying to grow nice lady-like fingernails which are longer than the length i usually keep them. But am understanding why now that i don't - i keep biting them! urgh. i hate it when others do it but its just so hard to stop myself...>_<

so anyway, the last 2 sundays have been spent doing my own stuff. Last week, i cried my eyes out watching this.

Show Me The Money!!

I have never really watched this whole show, and that explains why i didn't expect it to be soooo touching. It doesn't help that her son is so amazingly cute. And my most favourite line in the movie is when her son hugged Jerry, and then Renee (I can't remember her screen name) told her sister - "Did you see that? He was hugging Jerry like a father! He must have been waiting so long to do that!" *sniff sniff sniiiiiiiff* For those who have yet to catch this classic - please do!

On another note, the weekends have also been spent expanding my culinary skills. Key achievements have been penne bolognaise, sweet and sour fish with angelhair pasta and oriental style angelhair with black pepper beef and bok choy. :D This for me, is worth blogging about. hehhe. As self-praisey as this might sound, i thought that all three meals tasted fantas-teeeec. But then mr. T told me that when newbies cook, they will tend to feel that what they've cook taste absolutely great. Really? *shrugs* Works for me!

I found this recipe in my mom's cookbook for asparagus wrapped with fish fillet. Sounds good and healthy. Shall be my next project ;)

Random point - I want to dance like them in Hairspray.
