A day in my life today.
Considering I have quite an easygoing day ahead, I shall indulge in writing a short piece documenting a considerable easy day I am about to be bestowed upon.
Morning meeting, as always, starts at 8.30am, regardless if you have worked your ass away into the wee hours of the morning. By hook or by crook, you better show up in the conference room by 8.30 am (of which some have actually taken pride in their work by showing up by 7.30am – rest assured I am still sane and do not show up at office till 8.28 am :P). Today, meeting took longer than usual with the absence of my two bigger Jap bosses. COO made the call and lectured on for an hour about communication and made every department convey and communicate every ounce of updates we could come up with.
I quickly then took my breakfast, reading up today’s news, skimming over most articles, reading headlines and noting some local news. With MCA winning the Machap by-election, I laugh inwardly at how comical the candidate looked, not to mention the quick interview he gave sounding absolutely lame. It all looked rehearsed and I thought everything oozed fakeness. Nevermind that, it really should be the least of my worry, having thought many times how we never really have real leaders anyway.
Some media left messages on my mobile and I tended to it before moving on to the publicity plan my boss have prepared. I am supposed to run through the plan and give my input but here I am doing this. I really should get back to work…
Boss was bitching about a dealer to me in the pantry and we both got worked up over it and began “DEALER-BASHING” for a good 10 minutes. How did we even land ourselves in such a misunderstood situation when our motives have always been clear from the beginning?
I now need to understand a whole lot of ASEAN land travel requirements, so this is all. Go listen to Fray, I think they’re rocking brilliant!
