so what makes you happy?

ah. another great weekend has come to an end.

last friday, had dinner with sher and other ex-schoolmates at pizza uno centrepoint. *sorry we made you wait so long :( will not tumpang jag next time! :P* shared a pizza with sher which was great! First time trying pizza there and definitely was not disappointed. Afterwards, we proceeded on to drinks while sher proceeded elsewhere to meet with mr. i-change-luxury-cars-like-i-change-clothes. Heheh! Yes yes..i know its his job..BUT….

So anyway, we ended up in black hole, hartamas. In the midst of playing pool, their beers and my mocktail, they asked me – “so what makes you happy?”

uh?

What a random question! But nonetheless, something that I was quite eager to think about. Hm. Well, I can easily say it does not take much to make me happy. I suddenly had like a bunch of thoughts that made me happy. But since we were talking about adapting to work before that, I thought about my colleagues, my boss and how glad I was that I belonged to this great group of people.

It’s how they make you feel comfortable around them, like sharing with you how he likes to cook on weekends and watch his wife grow fat. *Yes, I translate that he is a good cook*

Or teasing you by staring at your tummy while you eat the last mini packet of M&Ms.

And after that sharing the heaviest weight they have ever been – which made me feel better coz I’m the shortest compared to everyone!

So yeah, back to the conversation, we continued talking about other stuff, and things that happened at high school. Felt happy and touched at the same time when a friend said they thought of me like a sister! *Hm, beer effect kicking in…* What I can say is that old friends are definitely the ones to treasure.

Saving the best for the last: The highlight of the night was winning mr. i-am-twice-your-height-chiamay in a game of pool! Hehe. When I pocketed that last black ball, the feeling was just so sweet while everyone cheered. Everyone is so not gonna let him forget about this incident. Ever. I guess I had beginner’s luck that night. ;)
