Obviously so…

Was able to bail town and headed down south and across to Singapore. This time we ventured out further into the city and stayed at a hotel smacked right in the middle of Orchard Road. The last time we were there, we opted for a boutique hotel situated marvelously by the Quay

Orchard during Christmas/New Year period is magical. Charming and pretty, not toa mention clean too. Shopping was uneventful. We bought nothing. But all’s compensated with food and meeting up with friends. Again, I cannot stress how much I enjoy their Bak Kut Teh. No one will believe me, but their bak kut teh is quite something.

Of course, I had to catch a cold while enjoying my break.

Laid in bed on the eve of new year and we spoke to each other in the dark till we dozed off (intoxicated by medication is such a high!).

I thoroughly enjoyed my January 1^st even though I had the cold and sore throat. There’s nothing like sitting by the walkway of the deli, rain pelting down heavily, easy calm breeze swooshing along, turkey and cheese sandwich in one hand and having him by my side.

The rest of the day was spent picking up dessert for his family gathering and attending the gathering. There were so much laughs and chatters, it almost made my cold seem non-existent. It was such an easy no fuss day.
