my boy and i did the most impulsive act yesterday by driving down to Batu Caves to join in the merriment of post-Thaipusam as well as for the sake of getting ourselves into the massive traffic jam leading towards the cave. The ammount of people was overwhelming and we were tripple parking by the elevated highway! The statue of Lord Murugan was impressive but we were no where near the entrance of the cave, let alone the statue. Before you could count to 10 we've left Batu Caves to endure yet another hour of traffic on our way back
today is Chap Goh Mei. and we had our annual lion dance troupe in our house...yet again. at the beginning, it was somewhat a novelty to have them prancing around my living room ya-da ya-da, now it's just plain...
"Ok, go do your thang"
and and and, i got inspired when i found out about a certain stamping block and i sat my way through the nice warm, yet cool afternoon carving my way through it...and lookie! I've got stars and all! Shall experiment more with it!

wooo!!! lion dance.. cool! haha i'm still pretty kid like when it comes to lion dance. i really like it you know. whenever i hear the sound from far, i would literally run towards it. heheee..
haih, i din know...next time we have i call you ok! :) then u come over to my place and see :) hehe i actually like lion dances too, esp when when they're set out to compete:)
