~*making music * Papier moment

ridiculous as it may sound
we had to do a recording consisting of 9 renditions of this nursery rhyme in our campus radio
we had to do it in French,
in Maldivian,
in Spanish,
in Chinese,
in Malay,
in Swatsana,
in Tamil,
in Swahili
and in Japanese.
although we have mastered it all very much earlier
we still felt WEIRD having to do a recording of it!

however odd it was
i think we had a rather fab time!
our campus radio's assistant helped hooked us up to the system
and even gave suggestions to how we could improvise the entire thing
and I
I accidently knocked my mic against my watch
and caused an ear splittering frequency wave (???) into his headphones!!!!
he must have gone deaf if he didn't take it off quick
*my bad*

must say, we did feel quite grand
with our instruments and singing into the mic sorta thing ;)
but good things always do come to an end
when we stepped in to our Public Relations class
we were fed full with tips for the exams the next day (which is today)

and i have to say
with the absence of a text book
and relying my study materials from the internet
only revising the day before the exam
is NOT ADVISABLE!
i have never read soooooooooooooo much from the computer in one day!
and to think i had to master 4 case studies from scratch
is ABSOLUTELY NOT FUN!

so with the exam laid to rest
i drove home under the rain
and witnessed a flash flood!!!
along NKVE towards Shah Alam
by golly wow!!
i've never seen such flood
no point telling here
cus you have to be there to admire ;)
(I'm sure admiring is not the word those caught in the massive jam would appreciate)

so upon reaching home
my boy called and told me he wants to take me out for dinner
and yay yippee
we had dinner at I.k.e.a.
and you have to agree, dinnering at Ikea is absolutely the 'funnest' experience next to riding a roller coaster!
or in my case discovering a shop dedicated to ME
ok not quite so
right, so while walking down to my 'Girly Shop'
i stopped short...
starring right at me was.... PAPIER!!!
That shop is ABSOLUTELY DEDICATED TO ME!! ME!! ME!! ME!!!!
i stood there, stunned to core!
my boy's eyes shone and said

"OH MY GOD!!! THIS IS YOUR SHOP"

boy, was he right!
i squeled in delight and entered Papier
inspected every nook and cranny
melted at every sight of the embelishments, books, papers, stickers, paper tools and everything related to bookscraping and cards!! All imported goods!
i caught the sales lady smiling at my enthusiasm
as she passed me some leaftlets on Papier...

oh mighty!!!

they sell everything i read off my bookscraping books!!!!
and to see and feel every one of them
is like placing a La Pelle Guccissima on my feet!
PAPIER! PAPIER! PAPIER!....I LOVE PAPIER!
(although they're on the pricy side - other retailers are selling the same goods for lesser but Papier does it on a larger scale)

oh Papier,
i shall dream of you tonight
and may i wake up with a store room filled with goods from *Papier!*

have i recently told you i love Papier? :D
