crystal and veni decided they wanted to be treated like si-lai-lai and took upon themselves to act as one too!

while they had they're hair dyed and straightened...i sat in one lonely corner amusing myself with magazines -_-

and more magazines

before i knew it, i had more magazines piled up than any one there who were actually having their hair done!

i would have stayed on and see the result of their hairdo if only my mother had not called up and tempted me with

"Girl, where are you? Follow me to One Utama, i wanna shop"

mother was in search for some nice evening wear for the endless wedding dinner she's been invited to, every Saturday begining yesterday
what a marathon!
(i even saw 3 wedding cars on the road yesterday!)
is the whole world getting married?
so anyway, we went searching for that piece(s) of clothing that would instatntly be a hit in my mom's eyes
but no....

walked walked walked and walked walked walked
still can't find
by then, we were at wit's end
my mom wailed to me

"Chu Lui (pig girl)!!! Howwwww........"

yes, i am Chu Lui....
something of the past that has stuck through time
old habits die hard
old nicknames will never die

suddenly i saw a bright lightbulb appear before my eyes
(it's revolutionary! A change from appearing above your head)
and i dragged her all the way to Sonny San and all hell broke loose
satisfied and contented with her purchase
mother said
"Come, we go have coffee"
*yay*

rounded up the night with SinCity
and chatted about Film Noir and its ultimate relevance to SinCity with my boy
very inspiring i say
and intellectual!

today
is dating day.....
i love dating days!
which is why Saturdays are always fun
cus it's dating day
and dating day means getting out of the house and roaming into the unknown
except, today my boy had a shoot prep going on
and while i waited, i turned dating day into project day

and i made this!

i've been dreaming for a long necklace and i swear everywhere else is over quoting the price of a simple long neckie, ok, that didn't soud quite right, a necklace i mean.

and i'm happy
since my mosaic grouted coaster and my mosaic paperweight didn't turn out the other day
i'm suspecting it's too much water since the entire thing cracked as it dried :(
this necklace has been a nice consolation
(i'm still going to work on my mosaics!)
