thousand apologies for the late post..had exams and assignments and meetings the past week, sigh i'm so glad its my mid sem holidays now! but..the workload doesn't stop..*argh*
so anyways! my 4 days 3 nights trip to bangkok was good in general, not too long or too short to get bored of the place, or to want to stay longer.
1st day ~
yeaps this is t
he gang waiting for the boarding call of thai sky airlines..not too scary fortunately, hehe. the air stewardesses don aprons on when serving food. kinda cute huh? hehe. upon arrival we were greeted by Zhong Wen, our tourist guide for the whole trip. Nice guy in general, likes to comment of women walking past by when we were waiting in bangkok's famous traffic jams. *hmm* heheh..we reached there around dinner time, so after filling our tummies at a cosy place called Siam House, we adjourned to the Suan Lum nightmarket which was humongous! shop shop shop..managed to get a pretty skirt for myself and shirts for baby..the shopping there isn't particularly fantabulous, the prices are pretty much similar to shopping in a penang pasar malam i would say!
2nd day~
Visited many to
urist spots on the way to Pattaya today. Among them were the Tiger Zoo, some herb manufacturer, a huge gem factory (which sher DETESTS..haha) and Four Face Buddha. At the Tiger Zoo, there are not only tigers but lotsa other animals..its ranging from crocodiles to camels, pigs, parrots..yeah you get the picture huh. Paid 150 baht (RM15) to take a pic with a real life croc! Hehhe, wasn't really scared until he started to fidget a lil then i was like "crap! i mean no harm okay!" hehehe...my mom was holding a big one too at first..but he decided that he wasn't in a very 'modelling' mood tat day..haha..starting whacking his tail at my mom..so yeah, my mom carried a cute lil baby one instead.

at night, transvestite show night called ALCAZAR! ~~~~~~~>
3rd day~
Back to bangkok today! visited an elephant zoo this time..jeez...its like a animal field trip this vacation is! so yups..again..watching elephants play bowling, basketball and ever hungry with their trunks reaching out to grab everything u've got..hehe..During the night, we were scheduled for a thai steamboat dinner but we canceled it because we still hadn't shopped enough! We had a dinner at the foodcourt in Mahboonkhong (MBK) shopping complex, one the main ones in bangkok..and they have yummy sticky rice with mango! if any of you guys go to bangkok you MUST eat it..with santan too! :D yummy yummy...i tried the sticky rice with durian as well..but only had a mouthful..the taste is a bit too strong for me..
4th day~
had a quick breakfast..and then proceeded straight to the airport for our flight at 12..BUT..it was delayed! *arghh* for 2 hours only fortunately, so we were basically exploring the bangkok international airport, hanging out at a cafe there..while nerdy me took out my notes to study for my upcoming exams in 2 days time..hehe..
so yups..dats the general update about the trip! came back happy and ready to immerse my head in books..*back to work*
