it's the Hungry Ghost Festival again

and it has been one year since crys, pin, veni and i produced our Hungry Ghost Festival documentary *what fond memories!!*

it was a lot of impromptu plannings, getting the instant- approval to document the festival from the Shah Alam commitee, finding our way there, getting smoke into our eyes...ok it might not sound that fun, but it was an eye opening thing for us all.

there were some doubts at the beginning, we weren't sure if it was respectable, or if it was going to be easy to secure the locations for the shoot...plus, crys is a weak hearted person and nothing scares her more than the 'netherworld'. but we managed.

production has always been fun for us all...we had pin's jeep to ship things around (esp the ladder!) and crys and i will plan a whole load of miniscule details for the shoot while veni and pin will execute the plan! It's so easy to work with ourselves! *LOL* we're so in tune with each other that first-time strangers working with us find us hard to work with (i shall not get into the *brawl* we once had).

crys reminded me it's been one year since, so rites, happy one year anniversary to 'US' and our documentary (which a year ago, crys said was worth a National Geographic status-she's crazy) ;p
