~*of poppy garden and fulfilling weekends

over the weekend, there was the dinner date at Poppy Garden which amazingly, served an array of delicious food...far from what i'd expected, really. I always tend to assume pub-ish styled restaurants serve sky rocketing high priced meals with the tendency of compromising taste. But while Poppy was expensive, least it came along with sumptuos food and great company ;)

Shafeek (the only person not powered by estrogen) helped us with this shot...he was from my high school, and which i had conveniently forgotten...like totally erased off my mind! i had no recollection of him ever being in my school and i blatantly told him that...he was h-u-r-t. or least pretended to be :) but he provided the laughs, which was all good. Plus he really did try hard to be a girl just to fit in with us.

then the next day i woke up with a mission to scavenge that lil skirt i saw hanging off this girly lil shop a month back. I absolutely hate it when a piece of clothe has this lingering effect on me! so i had to get it off the hook...and it really wasn't on the hook anymore. Saddened and defeated i retreated to my boy's office and settled to helping him with his work instead. Efficient and fast i am, we managed to even slipped in a celuloid filled night with War of the Worlds, which i highly reccommend all of you to watch it. Tom Cruise will never be that Mission Impossible feller to you after this. I totally slobbered myself wet at this particular scene which he couldn't sing any of his daughter's fav song.

Oh then there's 'Birth' i managed to watch as well...nopes, don't attempt to watch this unless you're some maniac Nicole-Kidman-fan-who-never-misses-any-movie-she-acts-in. And ok, i don't belong to that catergory, it happens that the DVD was lying by the player and i popped it in. On any normal scale, the movie would have been terribly boring, but i actually liked the first half of it before it went downhill all the way.

so that was my weekend.

and back to work this morning...which also marks the 5th week into internship.
