Sooo yups. I’ve been doing a pretty good job at wasting away the hours and minutes everyday. Think I should continue? Of course…..not.
Recently w
ent on a 4 day trip to penang with my college mates. How was it? Generally good but hot hot hot! And I think I ate like nobody’s business. But cmon..its penang right!! And one bowl of assam laksa only costs rm2! This is certainly a place where your self discipline is tested *grr*. On the first night that we were there, we walked the whole pasar malam which honestly felt about 5 km. heheh. But it was all worth it for all of us bought something to reward ourselves! I bought a lovely skirt for rm25, see yi and sinling bought a bag each, uling bought a bracelet, mike got him a ton of dvds to last him the whole year :P dvds were real cheap! Rm4 a piece..apparently it wasn’t so cheap before this, but the prices have really plummeted due to the increasing police raids these days. So they’re trying to sell of their stock or something. Oh well!
The next
few days were spent in town, visiting the Kek Lok Si Temple, Penang Hill and what else..more eating to our hearts’ content! We managed to catch Initial D at one of the cinemas there as well..which left 2 of my friends gasping for breathe at the sight of Jay and his i-can’t-bothered-with-anything look while drifting down Mt. Akina. Hm. I thought he was pretty lousy at crying though..hehe. I think the whole cinema was filled with young people and maybe mainly females as well as I honestly think I heard the cinema go ‘awwwww…’ at the scene when Jay started sobbing. Or was it just the row of girls sitting behind us? Hmm..hehee! The best moments about the whole trip I felt was when we were all just sitting by the beach. It was actually the Golden Sands Hotel’s beach but yeah we were allowed to chill there I guess. I have always loved beaches, especially at night..although there weren’t much stars twinkling above, and not much a breeze either..hehe..but it was a wonderful way to end our hot day in the city. Of course I did miss my baby to bits, but hearing his voice when he called definitely made me feel much better. :D
The trip was especially beneficial for mike because he got to learn how to fold a grasshopper from just a strand of banana leaf! How cool is that. Sinling’s darling was apparently the master of that particular skill so it must have been mike’s lucky day. He wanted to learn so much so that he could present it to his ‘gal’ when he got back from penang. Hehe.
So yups..that was my lil trip. After my Korean trip had been canceled, was pretty depressed at first. But oh well, there will be other chances along the way I’m sure. And I sure hope Annie and her friends enjoy their HK trip to the max as well! In the mean time i shall try to reorganise my room and in hopes that it will actually stay organised this time. *eek* hehe.
Sher, what to give our dear friend angie huh! Gimme some hints angie...quick!
