~*ladida all the way to kotak merah ;)

February 2nd...the most awaited date in the diaries of sher, pin, crys, veni and jean!....this was planned since we came down from Genting last year! goodness!..after so many postponing, everyone finally agreed on February the 2nd...so anyway, the plan was to just head down to Redbox Sunway to have a nice singing time...not like we don't get enough of it, since we had crystal and pin's 21st birthdays at a karaoke lounge...but having large group of people swarming over the mics (plus not knowing half the attendees) we had to do this, just the 4 of us (jean did not join us for our singing session-she's shy!hehehe) plus the good deal is that we only had to pay RM5, student price as oppose to the normal head charge of RM36 (what a cheat!) and we had two free drinks on top of that! i call this a GOOD DEAL! ;) ... but the downside of it was that we had to pay for those tidbits which contained dried nuts and all which you can get it from the pasar malam for a few cents and they charged us a whopping RM8, i swear Redbox is making way too much money for their own good - through cheating.

so then, an usher brought us to a room...and it was one helluva huge room! way too big for 4 tiny ladies! Below, pin demonstrating my point ;p

the room can roughly fit about 35-40 people or maybe more...it was their second biggest room, so it a dang good deal for RM5...i'm just such a sucker for the line that goes *VALUE FOR MONEY* and plus the aesthetic value to it ;)

so we sang and sang for 4 and a half hours...so many songs you could actually travel across half the globe and back and we were still singing...you know, funny thing is, i've always been quite turned off by the idea of karaoke. Not exactly the best way to have fun and even at some point i found it really tacky...i seriously couldn't do karaoke and it was really never my thing! NEVER! however, having my gila gang kick starting this habit, i actually found it very very entertaining, plus i have Pin who's never gonna be shy about singing definitely makes karaoke much easier on me. Pin can just get into a lounge and pick up a mic and she'll never let go of it, plus, she's one great singing kaki! you just don't feel shy around her...i swear, she has this vibe, a very contagious one, i would say, best describe her.

and then, there's this picture taking which never i never leave out...a photo of just the four of us, which i bet you have seen it so many times you are probably screaming, stop taking this kind of photo...yea, yea, yea, the traditional photo i call it ;)

and then there is me*&*veni - who love to do remixes that sounds so bad you can call them corny, but she provided the laughs, so it was all well ;)

after i chose a million songs later, i had veni and crystal to pick out new songs...and you can see crys in a very undesirable pose...i kinna think she looked a little sam-pat here.

and this! this is a series of unfortunate takes! we had to take this photo three times before we looked only a staggering ok (mind the oxymoron here ;p)...just look at the first photo, crystal and i looked soooooooo disoriented i dunno how to describe it! i look like a timid girlfriend while crys resembles an over protective boyfriend with her arms around me which looked soooo dislocated! and crys has a long standing issue with her eyes...she adores blinking!

and i can't leave this picture out...if pin found out i had individual pictures with the rest of the dumbasses, i'll probably never hear the end of her nagging!

after having sung a gazillion of songs and a lunchless afternoon later, we were all left famished to the core...especially crystal. she had some lamb meal, while i took pictures of her eating which also resulted in a "Ei, you dun take pictures ah!" grumbles hungry crystal...but me being me, do you think i give a damn??? hahaha i even made crys feed pin...i really wanted them to look into each other's eyes (you know like how lovers do it) but they shot me an evil stare and said "NO". so no lovey-dovey-looking-into-each-others-eyes feeding style.

Jean (the pretty lass in the middle) joined us for dinner and we had the best talk ever. I don't think studying in Limkokwing would have been the same if not for Huay-Pin, Crystal, Veni and Jean...i have done every single group assignments there is to do in this short period of 3 years with this four girls and having us all so in tuned with the way we do thing just never cease to marvel me. I don't know how things will be like having to minus two so very efficient and close friends this year. I know i'll miss huay-pin's presence, her funny ways, how we just get so silly doing silly things, all the laughs, plus she was one of my very first friend from Limkokwing and how she used to chase Anthony away just so she could sit with me!...and Jean, her naive-yet-sarcastic way of telling me things, her smart retorts, and all those time she poured her heart out to me.

After Veni and Crystal left, Pin, Jean and I continued to terrorize the workers in Secret Recipe by not budging from our seat, even when they were closing up, we stayed put. And now, staring back at the picture, i realized my two very first buddies i got to know from Limkokwing are leaving. Just feeling a little nostalgic...it was so fun when we sat there talking about our first few days and who were our first friends, how we hated some people who turned out to be one of the nicest friends, we had some backstabbers stories, some funny ones, some hell ones, all for a good laugh ;)
