~*with my back to the horizon to the west

me-by my window, sunset at 5:30+ p.m, beams of ray streaming in, raw picture, not photoshopped! ;p

there is this particular spot at a corner of my living room which looks absolutely her best especially when the sun is setting...i have, many times caught this moment, not through a lens, but through absorbing every bit of the sunset rays just with my presence alone.

it really is very beautiful, just sitting at a darker corner of my living room and plainly staring at the rays that enters through my diamond shaped grilles as it spills itself over that very corner of my living room, it actually creates a very calming effect over me...for real! i have spent endless time just poring over a good book as the rays hit my back...plus, my patio has these dull green and white fabric-like winding binds which filters the setting sun's ray which just absolutely adds a hint of colour to the rustic wood ambience of my living room...priceless!

but for that very particular day, as i stepped into my house and saw just how soft the rays were, it just took my breath away! I whipped my camera out and just started snapping pictures of myself illuminated by the rays and that one on top is my favourite...i snapped so many pictures of myself, unable to put my camera down for the fear that i might lose just one more best shot...i took till the sun completely vanished along the horizon to the west before i let out a contented sigh and it left me with a poignant memory.

na (one of my closest friends from school as well as one who exudes the charm of a woman with class … really! just that I’ve never told her this before;p) once said i take too many random pictures; never serious, never face on and I know she would consider this a random picture ;p … but it’s ok, I still love ya na! ;)
