curry mee and prawn mee

penang, penang, penang...where all the good food came from! ... high up north bound, plentiful of good food, historically rich, buildings with stories to tell and culturally chinese!

but really, little penang kafe (cafe? kafe?) is not in Penang, but i'd like to think i'm eating in Penang for real because there are so little places in the big old Kuala Lumpur that serves good Penang food although they claim they came from Penang (with the exception of Lorong Seribu in SS2 which really serves authentic Penang food..whoa their Char Kuay Teow is fantastic!) ... although Little Penang, situated in MidValley MegaMall, is a little on the pricey side, but pampering yourself with a bowl of Prawn Noodle for RM8.50 when you know you can afford it, it is worth every bit the cents you put into paying for that one chopstick-ful of prawn mee!

after you are done with the noodles, prawn, eggs and shredded chicken pieces, slurping spoons after spoons of the prawn soup is like bidding your last farewell to that good bowl of prawn noodle...melancholic!
