As with most of my randomly selected thought processed entries, here’s another mish mash anecdote of my week.
Our trip to a local electrical showroom was rewarding in the utmost sense of their friendly, helpful and almost professional service.
We were in search for a toaster as a gift and decided we’d purchase one from The Curve. Appearing from thin air, a young salesperson attended to us. Calm and collected, he did a demo on the toaster with ease and we were quickly impressed with him and the product. He packed it up, sent it to the counter and rang up the bill most efficiently.
We continued to browse the showroom and he attended to our every whim with a keen attitude. I like that guy. He produced us the number to call to fix up our broken tempered glass tray of our Maytag fridge we inherited, found us all the prices for the uber cool air conditioning units in the horsepower we wanted. I don’t remember being served this way for a very long time now.
We have two separate dinner plans today and we have been so accustomed to attending to every event together, it feels odd already thinking we’ll have to attend the dinners tonight separately.
At one end, I wish I could put away my relatives pre-CNY dinner to join him and his friend (who also played host to us during our trip to Hong Kong) for dinner. It is hard to refuse when their daughter is absolutely charming! Ever ready to perform a Madonna dance move at the dining table when requested :P She’s a darling.
