it was all fine and dandy, a tiring but good day at work. As i was strolling to the MRT station, i observed a group of young teenagers nearby, dressed up like topshop catalogues, laughing and having fun.
as i was about to make a call, the train came. So i slipped my phone back to its silver casing and stepped onto the train. There was a boy, who was sprawled on the MRT train floor, reading newspapers like it was such a normal thing to do. It surprised me a bit, and reminded me of what my colleague said - sometimes the best way to be happy is not to care so much about the people around you. Right.
As i was about to drift my mind into absent mindedness.. "Ni pen la ni!!!!" Or something along those lines. There was this middle aged Chinese man, scolding the boy who was reading newspapers on the floor in Mandarin. He said so many things which i could half-understand, but from the tone of his voice i knew it wasn't flattering or praise. This went on for quite a while, attracting more attention. The boy started to utter angry words back at the man, while the man started scolding him "You IDIOT! I call you IDIOT, correct ah?"
Hm. 2 stops later at Somerset, i alighted the train. Walking back to my apartment, leaving the scene and wondering what would happen to this boy and man in the end.
