a series of unfortunate events.. really.

has anyone watched Just My Luck featurning Lindsey Lohan? well, I have. and I felt exactly like her being so unlucky one day. let me walk you through the day.

the day started off okay, went for a meeting in a bank in town. After my morning meeting finished, i wanted to withdraw some cash as i was worried i did not have enough for my parking fee later. although the bank i was in wasn't the one with my account, i thought "well, its just an RM1 surcharge and I'm kind of in a rush". but however, my card got rejected. hence forth, i went to another bank right beside it, and again my card got rejected. *sigh* already feeling a bit frustrated, my mood lightened when i saw a Maybank atm signboard about 300 metres away. so there i rushed in my heels lugging my laptop bag, and joined in the queue. but guess what, my card (which is a maybank atm card) got rejected again! so not funny. i was already hungry, hot and desperate to be punctual for my next meeting at 2 pm. i walked over to breadstory and to buy my lunch and called the maybank service centre. apparently my card had been blocked because i tried to withdraw cash from a certain other bank. how weird. whatever, anyway he unblocked my card and i was able to get my cash.

practically sprinting, i got back to my car and punched in my ticket in the machine. *beeeeep* Ticket is rejected. *whhaatt!!* sigh. I press the intercom button and tell him the machine is not working. after a while, a guy came over and manually charged my parking fee, which was actually less than the amount i had in my wallet before i withdrew the cash from the atm. *tooot* all that trouble. oh well.

in the interest of time, i had my lunch while driving. and guess what, i missed a turn, and had to make one big round to reach my next meeting place. ggeeeeezz. i'm going to be late. finally, i reached my next meeting place in bukit damansara, and while turning into the parking basement, i hit a curb. *Owwww..* poor car. it has been through a lot with me. the parking lot was unusually full that day, so i had to park in an illegal (but not blocking anyone) parking lot at the lowest basement. B4. Taking one more bite of my bread, i gulped down some ice lemon tea and rushed to the elevator. After pressing the "up" button several times but to no avail, i asked several cleaner ladies hanging out at the stairwell. "Lif dah rosakk..."

*THAT'S IT!!!!!*

And just at that point, i started laughing. This just seemed so unreal but yes it was real. It was really hilarious. But yeah i walked up the 5 flight of stairs to the ground floor, and finally reached my meeting room.

Luckily nothing worse happened for the rest of the day. *heaves a huge sigh of relief*
