Chiams and I enjoyed a lazy day out brunching on a Sunday mid morning at the most CINA place. I was attracted to the place almost immediately just by a simple snapshot I saw in the newspaper.
Well, I have a strong tendency to get easily attracted to very Chinese stuff/ambience/atmosphere/culture..you get my drift, the more Chinese it is, the more it works for me. While family ate with forks and spoons, I went by the chopsticks, while some prefer modern, I swoon over the 70’s Chinese era anytime! (Which is why In The Mood Of Love will always rank high on my list!) and I have this some sort of funny fascination for Chinese Opera (ok while I admit I barely understood what they were going on about at Istana Budaya 2 years back, but it was highly fascinating if not mesmerizing!) … ok I don’t go around parading such ideas to everyone but it’s nice to have some form of identity I actually enjoy submerging myself in.
Anyway, the point is, as usual, Chiams and I shared another insightful conversation that afternoon. Not about to share what we talked about, it’s not explicit, neither is it much of a secret…but it’s nice to just keep it low and just between the both of us (read: lazy to relate the conversation :P).
Crap…I ABSOLUTELY hate it when people go talking in that stupid whispery voice! Farking irritating! Not that I am ultra sensitive that they are talking about it, quite on the contrary, I think they are talking about ‘someone’ which I don’t even wanna give two hoots about. But it’s sooooooooooo irritating, they’re going real soft and it is just as bad as having a fly buzzing in your ears! :S

geez.. y dat sudden outburst at the end sher?.. ahah.. and yes i so agree with u dat it's annoying.. i actually told a friend off for doing dat in front of me and my other friends' face even tho we know she was talking about us.. i told her "dat's plain rude, can u pls stop it ar.. the worst is when they have a HAND covering their mouths!.. omg.. dat's like ...i dunno wat u call it also.. aahhaha
they're not talking about me, they're bitching abt someone whom i actually agree is soooo worth bitching about la (she's such a scum! we provide her help from our end and she bitched abt our company! and it hits a very personal spot from my point of view)... but still, it's sooooooo annoying to have that whispery voice going on...
