~*my missing letters

i swear my house is possessed...
and it's programmed to eat up letters in yellow envelopes!
upon returning from Germany
i sat and painstakingly coughed up two nicely written 'Thank You' cards in my lousy German...
to my friend in Kassel and her family in Berlin for having me over for Christmas and treating me to all their Christmas goodies for a day.
naturally my cards are homemade including my envelopes....in yellow
but...
they're no where in sight! I have been searching for them for 2 weeks now and it's still missing!
no one has even so much as spotted them!
it's madness!
where in the world are my letters!

well, not that it mattered much now
since i've already made another set and sent them off as fast as i could.

today, i received an email from a dear friend which booked us the haunted hostel in Weimar...
and because we split up from Weimar
while i went up north to Berlin
he went west to Amsterdam
and to read about what he did in Amsterdam
made me want to crawl back to cold, bitter, grey Europe.

till then, i shall go listen to Peter Pan.
