last Saturday marked the last ever day we stepped foot in our *beloved* campus
having our graduation held in our campus left us in a limbo of feelings
one part of us felt it was completely logical to have our Graduation in our campus because Graduations are SUPPOSED to be held on campus grounds
Summary: Logic
yet another part of us felt cheated
because for what we paid for, it's worth having it at a Hotel
Summary: Typical KIASU-ness
well, i would have agreed on having it on campus grounds...and would have even be completely joyous if the weather was a tad bit more permitting!
Of course, our huge ass hall that could fit the hundreds of graduates was properly air conditioned but it's the weather OUTSIDE which was terribly humid to be in our robes.
*oh have i told you, that day was possibly the only ever day i felt closest to being in Hogwarts School of Wizardry! - the only thing missing was a twig-like wand*
anyway...it was a bittersweet feeling...
there i was with Crys and Veni in our faculty's dressing room,
fixing up each other's robes
and fastening each other's capes to the lapel
it was so natural!...
like it was so clockwork...that would have described the way we've been working alongside each other
CLOCKWORK
seamlessly easy
and possible the last time ever...
oh in case if you're wondering what the red piece of thing we're holding onto...
well...
it's called being AWARDED
and not knowing you're the recepient of an award till the day itself!
those two monkeys got themselves each a
"Young Achiever's Award"
and i bagged the
"High Achiever's Award" & "Industry Award for Excellence"
sounds pretty glamorous eh...
oh well, it comes naturally for us! *LOL*
amidst our bright smiles and hearty laughs
it's all a plastered on show
please know that we're hurting terribly inside
esp at the feet region!
it's not funny being vain people like us!
when we try to match our best looking shirt with our best looking pants along with our
BEST LOOKING SHOES
*translation: the pair of shoes that's going to make you look so freaking glamorous is the pair of shoes that's going to cost you your feet!
so, yea...behind those smile, we're actually biting back our pain!
along with other vain people like us...
our only dissapointment is not being able to graduate along with Pin...damn suih!
either ways, faster congratulate me la!

when i was reading ur graduation entry i suddenly felt kinda excited but also sad, imagining the day of my graduation, not doing assignments with friends anymore, and ..*gulp* not driving to tbs anymore. hehe.
but all is good, we're all moving along our lives just great and I'm sure the best is yet to come!
