*quickie

finally in Berlin
and quite frankly, i am not quite sure if i have actually made the right choice with the accomodation.
it's situtated in a rather gettho-like place and it's actually pretty frightening
and today's Christmas Eve
and the area i live in is sooooo quiet
the worst part was finding my dinner (or lunch)
i was in the train the entire day and i was sooo famished by the time i got to Berlin
and the shops had to close
finally found some Spanish or Mexican place
and i gobbled up my food like some pengemis ok.

and yesterday
i stayed in the 'quirkiest' place ever in Weimar
(this secluded town la)
not quite sure how to describe the hostel
but first impression
it looked dead haunted
and the owner looked like he had conveniently hopped out of 'Transylvania' but dressed in soiled jeans and loose tshirt.
the interior of the hostel itself looked like it belonged to a totally different era
the heaters were so ancient i bet it belonged to the days of World War II
i am just glad i woke up alive
except i had to tahan myself from going into the toilet at 3 am!
