I came back with the news of my dad stranded in serembam, on the highway back to KL ;( and he took on the help of a total stranger! Sounds dead scary right…apparently stranger was helping this young lady change her tyre and my dad happen to bust his car nearby and stranger offered to help my dad too…there are two case scenario that crossed my head while this happened:-
ONE
(the imminently bad thought that goes through your head because you do not believe in the term ‘good Samaritan’)
-stranger was trying to rape girl and stopped to offer his help but suddenly my dad appeared and he couldn’t carry out his act (which is stupid actually, because by the end of it my dad would have been robbed because stranger is angry my dad spoiled his plan– which did not happen)
TWO
(if you believe that good Samaritan still exists among us)
-stranger is purely a good person and sympathizes with people in need, plus he said he is a mechanic, perhaps he thought this way would earn him some extra cash.
Wait, a third case scenario just popped up
THREE
(money making scheme)
-stranger bust the girl’s tyre on purpose (cus he did tell my dad the girl has been dragging her busted tyre for some distance! Plus the area is just some few kilometers away from Seremban town) and helped change it for her thus earning some kopi-duit.
-stranger checked my dad’s car and said it needed water, which stranger did went all his way to collect water from a nearby Petronas. Poured it into my dad’s car and some part exploded! He then went on to say he’ll go fetch some car parts for my dad, and dad gave him RM30 (lucky it’s just 30 and not 300!) Dad said he left and for a whole 30 minutes, he was still missing (Where did stranger thought he was going to get the parts from??? Even if there’s a place nearby, he’d still have to pay 2 tolls to get back to my dad)
stranger probably left with the intentions of getting the parts but changed his mind when he realised he's no superman to get back to my dad without having to pay 2 tolls ;) hey, even if he left with the RM30, he still had good intentions to start off with...i choose to believe he was trying to help.
so my dad proceeded to call family to pick him up from, yea Seremban. He walked all the way to the nearest R&R while I drove down to Seremban (at 9.30 pm) to pick him up. Poor dad...and it’s freaking scary driving at night esp when the lines on the roads disappear and there are no street lamps.
