it was a misfortune i left my camera by my desk while i was rushing out. su yi's small gathering last night brought many faces i have not seen for a long time. Plus it was nice i was able to say a proper bye to a friend who's leaving today since i was unable to make it to his farewell gathering last week.

And finally, caught up with chiamsy a bit too! Although we weren't there for long, it was good catching up on the bits and pieces of life. Fragmented as our conversation was, it still is something ohkay! everyone should see how chiamsy reacted towards the vodka that was handed over to her. "Urghh, it smells like turpentine!" as she turned and look at me with her face scrunched up! *teehee*

and i hope meiyin kong did not think my gift was badly wrapped as i spent a LOT of time figuring how to wrap it! it's now sitting in Vannie's luggage thousand of miles above sea level flying towards Melbourne! If only i was the GIFT! hahaha...note to the recipient :- hope you like my gift, as well as chiamsy's one chi mui!

speaking of meiyinkong (how in the world did we start calling each other this way??!! with meiyingkong, minggyliu and chiamaymah! LOL we shall then proceed with RagunathanRanjini!)...so, i was saying, speaking of meiyinkong, i was writing her a birthday note and i realised just how much i missed her and Na. Not only their presence but also as part of what used to be a group of girls we fall back on most of the time, since the beginning of CRALL (unfortunately one L flew another direction, but let's move on). And i told her, we're always so busy chasing what's in front of us that we never stop to look back at what we've got. Which is abundantly filled wih all the best memories!

We've got an entire list of funny issues we never quite got over till today. Chiams and her Rumah Biru and Rumah Kuning case! OMG! Then there was this teacher who terrorized Chiams with Colgate Palmolive LOL...the classic of all was the liquid bursting ala snow falling in the middle of class and the teacher thought they were playing with liquid. It might not sound funny, but when it's told face to face, you'd laugh till you burst your bladder!

and then there's those housewifey times when Na and i baked a loadfull of cookies and cakes. while we left them baking, friends would come by for a chat and stuff...i reckon, we were so much cooler then than now! we would have movie night where chiams, na, meiyin and i would run through endless video tapes at the video shop near our area and we once picked 'IT' (tht clown show) to see if we were still freaked out over the clown. (we did not...we thought it was a stupid show afterall...we were all conned into getting scared dipshit when we were younger).

heck, i was even much healthier then too! we would go for morning walks by the Bukit Kiara hill during holidays and we never missed our evening walks too! We would climb up that monstrous hill (it's very steep, mind you) and our boundless energy just kept us going! it was very blissful...with forest air and beautiful sunsets (and sunrise if we got up early enough). Do you remember all these chiams? Shit, i'm getting way too sentimental! ;) and this is getting toooooo long!
