heartstrings

despite having Journalism exam today, i managed to dig up my guitar, which i fondly call it my heartstrings, yesterday...it has been sitting in one corner of my room, in a terribly neglected state. I have, probably, left it at its own devices for at least a year without touching it and when i saw just how covered in dust the case was, i HAD to take it out and give it a wash...you don't betray the only one instrument that kept you company during your teen years!

so while the case was drying itself off, i fumbled with it...BAD! i can barely make out what i was playing with pauses everywhere while i try to korek out the last few notes i remember but it kept itself stubbornly stuck behind my head. So i ran through one of my own composition (and the only one i must say) that has yet to be named, and got my fingers plucking and changing tabs, it felt excellent! Although it took me real long to remember the next chord.

Right after that, i played the kiddified Romance D'Amour *heehee*...and moved on to err, Romance D'Amour II (i have absolutely no idea what it's called but it's the tougher version of the former, so i call it II ;p)...My grips are bad! I can't hold it for long and i felt like kicking myself! Because i took so long to master it and now i have forgotten all of it!

I went to sleep yesterday giggling over all those time Chiamsy, Lavinia and I in the lesson cubicle laughing at Wong's singing! He thought he was a great singer and sang on top of his lungs!!! And nearly broke our eardrums! Once he leaves us to practice, we'll practically roll off our seats in giggling fits...he must have hated us. It was all so fun ;) And i remember too, Mey Yin and i had this very very patient teacher, Adam, his name was i think...one day he decided we were up for a rock-ier image and made us use the electric ones...it was fun, of course, at first...then it started to get a little annoying cus it was sooo heavy and terribly sensitive (for ppl like me, i like to hide my mistakes, so sensitive guitars are bad for me!hehe) and we requested to change back to classical, and I think he felt hurt, cus he treated us like his rock band! LOL

really!!! hahaha...we shall not betray them eh?;)

it feels good doesn't it? esp when everything starts to come back to you! Then you remember all those silly times you had with your drumset!
