i have once again bring myself to obsess over Moulin Rouge! I have never found myself to be giddily in love with one show to the point where i watch it in such an obsessive manner, but Moulin Rouge does just that!
First, it was back when it first came out...i was enthralled with the story and how in it's extravagant way i found to love the simplicity of the story. It's just love! And there are probably over a million of love movies around, but Moulin Rouge managed to creep itself into me! The love medleys, the Come What May-s...beauty!
Then it was head on to the pirated VCDs to get a copy of the show because i simply just can't get enough of it! Crystal knows just how infectious this movie was. And we're both probably just plain suckers for a little romance out of the ordinary.
So that era passed, and many years too have come between this movie and today, but it is still so endearing to me that i have watched it over so many times and my boy got me the DVD a few months back, because once again, i craved to feel the Moulin Rouge again and the my old VCD just isn't doing the movie any justice! (my actions even led Crystal to get the original copy too!!! ;p)
So the DVD has kept Moulin Rouge alive.
Which i had decidedly took it out a few nights ago...and it has now turned me into a M.Rouge junkie, watching it again this afternoon!
