and a very mind boggling one too!
so ok, the mission early this afternoon was to get to Goethe-Institut KL as well as the German Embassy...thankfully, strategically located along the road of Jalan Tun Razak, one at each side of the road...
however, when i reached this fork road, one heading upwards and another downward, i went up (although i knew to get where i wanted i must keep down)...why i went up then?
It’s all because of my silly fascination towards the scenic view! It’s really like being in the stomach of KL when you get up there…you somehow get to swallow up the entire KL skyline…that’s why I went up…because it was a grandeur feeling when I get up there…
But of course, my navigation went hay wired after that! And it didn’t help I drew myself a squiggly wiggly map I couldn’t even quite decipher if they were any other roads I should not have missed out!
the comparison between the internet map and my map...
internet - very detailed!
mine - errr....minimal.
But I took a detour and found it ;) …
After I got what I wanted I was off to the German Embassy…well, I found the road and all…but the building seemed to be missing!
So I consulted a policeman in a mobile-police station and he sniggered a little before replying:-
“cik adik, yang belakang kamu tu kan German Embassy” *points behind me*
So…ok….right. *embarrassed*
After I took an elevator that took me all the way up 26 floors, I was told, operating hours are…9am to 12 pm *gasp*!!!
Is that even called working!?!?!....
Darn!
So I marched back down to the lobby and paid a stinking RM2.50 for parking!
and drove through some jam...and even managed to whip out my camera and took a picture of the tiang!
So that failed, I went off to SS2 to pay off the seminar my boy wanted to attend…some design seminar of that sort… that should be fun ;)
