~*when things gets a lil on the downside

spesh when holidays are dragged on endlessly (hey i'm not complaining ok ;p) i get down to Veni's place to do some editing (since i'm so friggin free she said and she needs help ;p)...

so i woke up at 9am...not for Veni but for the 62nd Golden Globe Award ;) ... heck, i sat transfixed to the tv hoping to get glimpses of Nicole Kidman for 2 and a half hour before she finally came on! Yes i have this funny obsession (not entirely worshipping her but rather i think it's more of a awe admiration for her kinna thang...whatever that meant ;p) for Nicole...don't you think she's so womanly? well i do...



so on the way to Veni's place, i stopped at a traffic light and before you know it, i started snapping away...at the Hilton building ;) thought it looked rather spectacular...cus it's planted in the middle of nowhere type of location.




Here's Veni hard at work! some Sri Lanka video she recorded last year and promised to get it done for a friend of hers but never did till today. And because college's out and we can't possibly use the facilites in college neither do the both of us have the desire to drive all out there to cyberjaya, we decided to get it done at her place...

i've decided to help her out because, one, i had nothing better to do, two, i have been itching to get my hands on some editing work and three, veni asked for help ;p

y'see the problem with us is that we don't know how to use Adobe Premier for editing (since we've been using FinalCut Pro on a Mac platform). I mean we tried using Premier once, but we ended up being so frustrated at how the dang software worked...but now that we're on holidays and had all the time in the world, it sure didn't hurt giving Premier another go ;) ...although we sure took a long time figuring out how to get things started ;) ... and having to go through the help menu on things we could have easily solved using FinalCut Pro. But the idea here is to learn PREMIER!...and now, i can say i am Premier literate ;) .. guess it's not that tough once things gets into the flow, after 7 hours!

*yesterday's punya cerita*




these are what i hauled back yesterday...on a trip to a bookstore ;) ... if i'm let loose in a bookstore, akibatnya will be teruk. hahaha...

actually i am so in need for new dictionaries! my old one is simply jurassic! hence having to splurge on three different oxford bound thingamajig... as well, in the pack includes Dan Brown's DaVincci Code recommended by Na (and half the people i conversed with about books, book reviews, my boy and bookshelves) as well as Tuesdays with Morrie by the same author of Five People You Meet In Heaven.

have you ever smelt how books smells?...simply sense arousing!



i had a pack of candles disguised as elephants that i got over christmas and finally decided to light them up ;)
