~*penang's got character!

DAY 3

i seem to going on about Penang endlessly huh...too bad, you have got to endure my hazardous blog! ;) ... i'll make this entry easy on the eyes aights!

PICTURE 1&2 - i do not know where am i but what i do know is that this row of post-war shop houses has fantastic tiles lining it's pavements! Picture 2 shows me making my mark on the beautiful tiled flooring ;) ... i was there for breakfast which i successfully chomped down:-

1 bowl of Prawn Noodles (RM2.00 only!!!)
1 bowl of Curry Noodles
1/4 bits of Chicken Leg Loh Mee
1/4 bits of Chee Cheong Fan (different from KL wan ;p)

before i moved on to Lorong Selamat (or issit Jalan?) to experience the most expensive Char Kuay Teow ever...

1 plate of Char Kuay Teow (RM5.00....beats KL normal RM3.00++, but taste real good!)
1 bowl of Curry Noodles (yes, two bowls of Curry Noodles for breakfast!)
1/2 bowl of Ice Kacang...so tak sedap this wan!

PICTURE 3&4 - we took a drive to Balik Pulau...rounds the island pretty well, get to see vast ocean view and loads of durian tree in which we stopped by a durian vendor on the way and ate a hefty RM30 durian (RM15 per KG) ...not exactly great, cus i personally love the SuperD24, the sweetest durians i have ever tasted, and creamy (creamy???...hahaha..u knw wat i mean)

PICTURE 5&6 - after a dizzying drive round the island we stopped for dinner at this place my dad read off the newspaper...the best of all, the place is situated by the beach! Fantastic! dinner by the beach!...dinner with a view~ ;p ok i did not take any picture of the place we ate, but the sunset at that time was amazing, just to let ya'll see what type of sunset i was having dinner with! ;p
