intern intern

After much deliberation, I finally started my internship with L’oreal Malaysia just last week. How is it so far? Well, so far so good. Not too much stress. Hehe. I think my workload is definitely much lighter because there is already an existing intern in the brand I am working under, which is Biotherm. He’s French. From Paris. *wink* haha. He’s leaving on Dec 24th, so I am sort of taking over his tasks. A new intern came just last Monday, but she is working for Lancome. Boy, is she busy! Hehe, she told me about her tasks and assignments, and although I do feel a slight tinge of jealousy that I am not assigned to those kind of “heavier” tasks, it is countered by the feeling of gratefulness that I can actually relax and not be too stressed up over this internship. I think my working life ahead has its fair supply of stress to offer me as well, so I’m not exactly very excited about getting myself stressed out now. ;) Jeremy (the French intern) and I are put in this room called Francois Dalle, and I am guessing he is one of the big shots of L’oreal Paris. Since we are located on the 15th floor, which is the highest floor in the Uptown 2 building, the view is simply breathtaking. We even managed to catch a glimpse of an exquisite rainbow, extending across the right side of the window, when the serene afternoon sunshine was gleaming through a light drizzle. I will try to take a photo of the whole view one day. The window is rather dusty though. Haha. From my window I can almost spot my home, surrounding by thick bushels of greenery, with long roads decorated with moving dots traveling up and down at an almost constant pace. And to my surprise, the IBM building in Taman Tun is SO near Uptown 2! Or well, from my window it looks near la, but it pretty hard to access it from that road because of huge dividers along the LDP. But I never knew taman tun extended so far till damansara uptown. Hehe. Discovery for the day, yay!
