~*watch out for T-Rex!

it's crys, me and huay pin...wait...and T-REX!!! you see how T-Rex is peeping on us?? ;) ... Posted by Hello

SMILE ;P ... this picture was one of our fondest memory in LUCT ;) ... T-Rex has always been our greatest companion, right from the start ;) ... hahaha... He's been very dedicated, patient and ever smiling, he was the one who accompanied us throughout the long editing hours we spent in the editing lab, he followed us all the way from the Mayang campus, to the Cyber campus! How dedicated can he be???...SHIT! I must be out of my mind! hahahaha ... the truth is, T-Rex has always been the object of our jokes! he's got these tiny arms and fingers, which crystal love imitating! and he's really fun to laugh at... really! and he keeps us entertained all day...and we're really glad he made it into our pictures ;) (by accident ;p)

Anyway, it's like 3 in the morning, my group mates just left my house about an hour and the half ago, we were busy editing our precious 'Hungry Ghost Festival' documentary! we finally got it done and were really relieved! Funny though, spooky as it may sound, this documentary really had so many glitch here and there (though nothing major), more so than i have ever encountered!

During the day of the shoot, our camera was not working, it actually refused to record anything despite indicating it is 'RECORDING'! When we finally got it moving, it came out blank (after a few trial shots)...like a total black screen!..but after some persuading and sweet talking the camera, it finally came to life and thankfully it did not fail us throughout the entire shoot till 1am. 2months later, it was time to send it in for editing, so we did a 3 hour preview of all our footages, yea you guessed it right, the begining footage was crisscrossed with funny lines! then the camera shut down by itself and refused to turn back on! (The camera is new, so this rules out the possibility that it's disfunctional)..the scariest was when it came to the part where we had a close up shot of Lord Hades (phor thor kong--> the paper God that stands magnificently in the middle of the festival) the camera turned off by itself again! and we took almost half an hour before we could get the camera to start running (do you knw we used tht same camera for 2 of our projects and we have never encountered such problem!) When we got it into the editing room, our dearest iMacs had insufficient space to carry our footages, then we had insufficient time...the list will never end! Finally we resorted to my bf's Powerbook (thank GOD!) ... but of course, it was not smooth running! It started off by refusing to capture my footages, then it ate up almost 18 Gigs of space (for 2 miserable footages tht usually needs 5 Gigs ok!) ... But after we got through tht hurdle, it had to rain sooooooooo heavily today that all my grp members were stuck in a massive jam for 2 hours! And huay pin couldn't even make it through the NKVE!, finally we resorted to do some major music transfering online and when we got it into our documentary, it was BEAUTY! ;) i was speechless...crystal suggested it could get into National Geographic (now we're talking major dillusional!!!) hahaha...

my, my, my...all those hours we spent! but it's all good...and i'm feeling real light headed now, i better hit my bed! *mwah*
