it'll make life somewhat easier to live by Posted by Hello

my two best mates (chiams and na) would have known by now i am so promoting this book! hahaha ... really, this book is not your typical heaven stories...because it is nothing about heaven, or God, or angels...no.

I picked up this book with a cynical, snide thought, thinking to myself as i held the book to my face "Yea, another heaven, God and angel story" ... curious, i opened up the book to confirm my prediction, but no, the book started with a catchy opening "THE ENDING" ... eiks? yea, it starts off with --------> " This is a story about a man named Eddie and it begins at the end, with Eddie dying in the sun. It might seem strange to start a story with an ending. But all endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time." ... this was good enough for me to read on...and as i sat at MPH's uncomfortable seats scanning the book, i ended up reading it and the more i read, the more interesting it got, because it was not a religious book! It's a book about 'us' ... yes 'us' ...

More often than not, we never realize the existence of other humans in our life, and it is these people that makes up our life, and gives meaning to it, however small a part they play. We tend to see the larger picture, ignoring the smaller ones...but it is always the smaller ones that have larger impacts in our life, unbeknownst to us. The smaller roles plays a part too, without them, we are only a part of a whole. For most of us, we think our lives are, not mundane, but routine...have we ever considered that it is our routine lives that makes the world go round? It is not 'bad' to have a routine, laid out life, it makes this world a safer place to be in.

Yes, this is what the book is all about, of course, it is told in a story manner, much more interesting than the way i described. It tells a story of Eddie who died and went to heaven only to meet 5 people who explains their purpose in Eddie's life because each person is in your life for a reason.

Don’t believe it's good enough for you? ;p ..Well try an excerpt from the book by visiting http://www.albomfivepeople.com/index.htm To me, this book somehow makes life somewhat easier to live by. Life’s really not that complicated, because the complicated part begins when things ends.
